• Campaign details you provide, like your business story, funding goal, and photo;
• Bank account and identity verification details, when you link a bank account to withdraw funds;
• Donation and transaction records tied to campaigns you create or back; and
• Usage information, like device and browser data, collected automatically as you use PCS.

We use your information for the following purposes:

We share information with banking and payment partners to process withdrawals and verify identity, with service providers who help us run PCS (such as hosting and email delivery), and where required to comply with the law. A campaign's title, story, photo, and funding progress are visible publicly to anyone who views it; we don't sell your personal information to third parties.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward where needed to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Depending on where you're based, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. If you're in Kenya, you can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner if you believe we haven't complied with applicable data protection law - though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern directly first.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Because backers support campaigns from around the world, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where PCS's service providers are based. Where this happens, we take steps to keep your information protected in line with this Policy.

PCS isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know before they take effect, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
